Quotation - Enjoy...

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets,
so love the people who treat you right,
forget about the ones that don't,
and believe that everything happens for a reason.

If you get a chance, take it.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy,
they just promised it would be worth it

hiya Sue, i received this by text yesterday.. came just at the right time, out of the blue and left me feeling supported by the universe :) have been struggling lately with - "so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones that don't" - why is it so hard to forget/let go of the ones that dont?? - yep "nobody said life would be easy" lol....
and another little reminder today ;) thank you xx

Hmm.....well....I guess one's definition of whether life is "worth it" has to be a little "flexible" methinks. "Worth it" if defined as a learning experience I suppose - as its certainly that...its been/is being one heck of a learning experience. I feel awkward in using the words "worth it" though - as I would personally only use those words about something enjoyable - and wouldnt use them about a "learning experience". I have read some people describing their lives as enjoyable - and it leaves me very curious what their lives are like and how I would feel "in their shoes"/would I enjoy that particular life they have? etc..

Would some people say they enjoy pretty much any life they had? Would they be doggedly "gritting their teeth" as much as I am if they were in my life - grit teeth/another lesson learnt/grit teeth/another lesson learnt? What determines whether a life is "worth it"? - enjoyableness or usefulness to the world as a whole or lots of lessons learnt oneself?

But - I can resonate with the rest of the quotation...and will try and bear it in mind.

Me again...and thought it was ironic that I had just typed my first message when an email came through to me (spam again..) about being grateful for having a "Breakthrough Life" - as in this particular lifetime being a "breakthrough" one I guess.....hmm....

I have been thinking about this too. Every so often you have to almost do some "spring cleaning" and move away from the people who drain you, revel in others misfortune, gossip about others, or only contact you when they want something. The hard part is doing that without hurting them. That's the bit I'm working on...
